But why me?
As a creative I run my own business to own my time and maintain a healthy lifestyle balance that brings joy and energy to my work, and I love to work with individuals who are equally connected to the reasons why they do what they do. My work resonates particularly with those pursuing lifestyle driven work or have more holistic / alternative offerings; be that a retro inspired surf brand, a yoga therapist, or a budding kombucha business. An open minded and human-centred approach helps me intuitively find the reason why behind your brand and celebrate this in the visuals I create.
How do I work?

whether branding or illustration, with the initial enquiry it is always a discussion of expectations and the scope of your project. Whether that be extra print collateral for branding, or an idea of how and where your illustration work will be used.

the first step in the branding journey will be centred around a brand questionnaire to help me really understand your business and the themes that need to come across in the visuals, as well as your audience. From here a visual direction mood board is put together.
For illustration work this step is centred around one or several rough sketch concepts to be approved before the next step.

once you are happy with the mood board or the illustration concepts it is onto the exciting part and the first rendering of the logos or illustrations. These will be presented back to you in a clear document outlining rationale, and then with the opportunity to provide feedback. Here I offer two rounds of amendments to finesse the work.

once the client is happy with every aspect of the deliverables and the final invoice paid, all work is provided in the required file formats, ready to be used in beautiful brand applications or desired illustration touch points, bringing soul and style to your business.

Of course! During the initial enquiry we discuss all possible applications and your future vision for your business to ensure you are getting the right package for your business needs. This will all be confirmed before putting in the paperwork!

This depends entirely on the scope of project. A small illustration project can take 1 week, whilst a larger branding project can take up to 8 weeks. I establish an idea of turnarounds as we start working together and am flexible to the client.

I usually book out 4/6 weeks in advance, so please bear that in mind when reaching out. However, sometimes projects can come together quicker than anticipated and space opens up!

No. Sorry, I specialise in print and illustration driven design work, and prefer to give my full energy and passion to this. However I can point you in the direction of excellent web designers.
